Antique Boulle Ormolu Game Table

Here we have a near mechanical game table inlaid in the manner of André Charles Boulle, a French cabinet maker who used brass and tortoise shell inlays.

DESCRIPTION: Antique boulle and ormolu game table. Features inlaid dore bronze in a scrolling rococo motif centered by a cartouche and flanked by ormolu female goddesses at the top of each arching leg. Finished with dore bronze accents and trim along the borders and finished with lion pawed feet. Table opens to reveal green felted table top.

ORIGIN: France
